I survived the fitting (5/2/05). The attendant has apprently never handled a camera before and the lighting was horrible, but here's the general idea bout what we're talking about.

Tuxedo Tips for the Perfectly Groomed Groom
Pants
The perfect length pant leg breaks slightly on top of the shoe and angles a bit downward in back.
Shoes
Black dress socks and shoes should be worn with a black or dark-colored tuxedo. White socks and shoes should be worn with a white tuxedo.
Accessories
Wear a cummerbund with suspenders, but never a vest. Shirtsleeves should extend just beyond jacket sleeves (about one-half inch). Cufflinks should match studs. A boutonniere should be worn on the left lapel and tilted slightly outward.
Fit
To avoid wedding day mishaps, the groom and groomsmen should try their tuxedos on for final fittings (including studs and cufflinks) before leaving the formalwear rental shop.
