The Human Genome Project
The Human Genome Project is a $3 billion,
15-year international attempt to map the human genome (the collective
name of the 50,000+ genes in our chromosomes). This information
could become useful to medical science as scientists isolate
and identify the genes that cause the human body to break down
and wear out. This could it turn lead to longer life and the
death of disease as man knows it.
